World renowed event series announced earlier this month that they chose Vilnius’ Opium club for their latest party. This will mark their second show in Baltic states, first being Boiler Room Tallinn: Lekker earlier this year.
Boiler Room are best known for their live broadcasts. The company has millions of fans all around the world so the opportunity to play a Boiler Room set means that the DJ will get more exposure in a few hours than he probably had in few months.
Highlight of the Thursday’s show will be Red Axes, a band from Israel who will appear as a quartet this time to present their latest tracks live.
As well as the Tel-Aviv’s duo, Opium’s legendary resident Manfredas will play his set for the occasion. He will be joined by Mario Moretti, V, Ernestas Sadau and Roman Sputnik. After Boiler Room’s cameras are shut off, “12 inčų po žeme” and Tadas Quazar will take over the stage.
Boiler Room doing a show in Lithuania means great deal for us. Vilnius’ nightclub scene deserves more attention and this will undoubtedly attract more tourists. It seems like the company themselves are interested in popularizing our name: not only they chose Opium on their own, they will actually be making a documentary about the club and Lithuania’s electronic music scene.
